How does your program work?
Operating since 1997, we offer women the opportunity to play the game of golf in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Our 2022 programs include Spring Training, a Fun League, Clinics and Events at many different courses in and around the city. We play only nine holes of golf, we don’t keep track of scores and you can play as little or as much as you like!
New to ElleGolf? Sign up for Spring Training or the New Member Registration. Both include your Fun League membership and a 2-hour Boot Camp. If you are looking for a little more help on your game, New Members can join us for optional swing, short game and / or play clinics. New Members must be an Experienced Beginner or better meaning you’ve played your own ball on the course, you’ve taken a full set of lessons, or you are returning to the game after a brief or many year hiatus. Join us and lets go golfing!
How does your league work?
It’s a Beginner to Intermediate Fun League. We play nine-holes of golf and we don’t keep track of scores. You can, but we don’t! We play Three evenings plus Two day-times each week. We take bookings on a weekly basis and you can play as little or as much as you like. As a member you receive a schedule for the season. When you want to play, call or email us at ElleGolf. You can book a time on your own or for yourself and one other member. We arrange the foursomes, confirm your tee-time and provide a starter at each league game. You just show up and pay your green fees. When you are new to the league, ask for a buddy. We’ll match you with someone in your foursome who has played for a few years and enjoys golfing with new members. It’s a Fun League!
Do I have to golf every week or on the same night every week?
No. You can play as little or as much as you like. You get the schedule for the season. You only give us a call or email the weeks you want to play and you pick the night(s) and / or day(s) you want to golf. One spot per member per week; additional time available as space allows.
What if I book a tee-time but I can’t make it?
Once you have a tee-time, if you can’t make it, just let us know by 6 p.m. two days before your tee-time. If you want to change a tee-time, again, just let us know by 6 p.m. two evenings before.
I’m only available in the daytime?
League play is offered during the daytime and evenings.
What if my game needs some work?
Don’t we all! We offer a swing, short game and play lesson clinics during evenings and daytimes. You can sign up for one or more clinics on the same date or different dates.
What type of events do you have?
We offer a number of events with a tournament in June, a day trip in July, a (members-only) wrap-up in August and a weekend in September. Guests are welcome but the deal is, if you bring your spouse, you must golf with them!
What golf courses do you play at?
18 different courses! Bearspaw · Blue Devil · Cochrane · Crystal Ridge · D’Arcy Ranch · Douglasdale · Heather Glen · Heritage Pointe · Inglewood · Lakeside Greens · Lynx Ridge · Muirfield · Redwood Meadows · Serenity · Sirocco · Springbank Links · Valley Ridge · Wintergreen
In the league, we play 3 evenings and 2 daytimes each week – 5 courses a week!
What if I don’t have anyone to join with?
Many of our members sign up with friends and many come on their own. It’s a great way to meet other women that like to golf without having the responsibility of finding them or keeping a foursome together.
What does it cost?
League Membership for Previous Members is $299. Spring Training $799 (includes your League Membership). Clinics start at $99 with discounts for additional clinics. New Member Registration is $399. Sign up by March 31 for the the best deal. Prices increase April 1.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Oh, no, but if you do, you will receive a full refund (less $50 admin fee) if notice is received 14 days prior to start date; no refund thereafter.
How do I sign up?
